Urea-Ammonium Nitrate, also known as UAN, is offered in two formulations. It is an excellent source of nitrogen for crops and can be mixed with herbicides, pesticides, and other nutrients, enabling farmers to reduce costs by applying several materials simultaneously rather than making multiple applications. Using a urease or nitrification inhibitor – such as ANVOL™ or CENTURO™ nitrogen stabilizers – with UAN can prevent nitrogen loss due to leaching, denitrification or volatilization, and help provide a positive return on investment.
